Spectacular Secret Santa

Hey ya’ll! I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again…bloggy friends are the BEST! We are such a close knit community who bounce ideas off of each other, share stories, and encourage other on a daily basis. I’ve teamed up with my bloggy bestie, Angela from Hippo Hooray for Second Grade to host the 1st annual Spectacular Secret Santa event!
Since Angela and I are hosting the event, we decided to give to each other. It was just easier this way. Angela teaches 2nd grade in Wisconsin and blogs over at Hippo Hooray for Second Grade. She loves hippos, hockey, hot chocolate, and clip art! She has the 3 cutest kids who keep her on her toes all the time. I don’t know how she does it all.
Let me start off by saying that I LOVE this girl! I really don’t know what I would do without her. We talk on a daily basis and our friendship has grown so much over the past year. I am so blessed to have her by my side throughout this crazy journey. She is always there when I need to vent or when I need a laugh. One of these days, I’ll get to have a real glass of wine with her. 🙂
I was out of town when my package arrived. I was so excited to come home to this box. Reason 102 why she’s my bloggy bestie…she put hashtags on my box. I did the same of her thing for her. 🙂

She could not have done a better job with my gifts. I love it all!
Flair pens are my number 1 teacher must have! I use them for EVERYTHING! Those other pens just don’t write the same.
Snickers are my fav! Enough said.
I love me some hot chocolate. I am not a Starbucks person but this hot chocolate mix with carmel is absolutely delicious! I had to hide the box from my husband so he won’t drink it all. The weather here in TX isn’t quite warm enough for this yet. It was 71 degrees here today.
I’m not much of a collector but I do love crosses. I have an entire wall in my dining room that is filled with them (I’m in the process of moving, otherwise I’d show you my cross wall.) She got me this beautiful cross that goes perfect with my other ones. I can’t wait to hang it up in my new house.
I also love Christmas ornaments. Anytime we go anywhere, I buy one for our tree. I think they are a great way of displaying your life story and they can bring back such great memories. My tree is a rustic theme with reds, browns, and turquoise thrown into the mix. Angela got me the most beautiful nativity to hang on my tree. It is just my style and is so unique.
She also got me this super cute snowflake ornament. A Christmas tree can never have to much bling!
Didn’t she do a great job?!? Have I mentioned how much I love her? She is a wonderful person. Head on over to her blog and check her amazing ideas. 🙂
