Easy Peasy Valentine’s Craft

Valentine’s week is here and we are in full swing here in Texas. I wanted to share a “easy, peasy, lemon, squeezy, macaroni, cheesy” (do you kids say this? mine do ALL the time) craft!

Tye-Dye Hearts!

Here’s what you need:
1. large coffee filters
2. bingo makers (you can get them at hobby lobby)
3. paper plate/paper towel
4.hole punch
5.yarn
6.squirt bottle of water

First you take large coffee filters and cut them into a heart shape.

Then, using the bingo markers, have the kids dab as many dots as they want all over the filter. Do this over a paper plate or a paper towel because the markers will seep through.

Then, have them lightly spray water all of the filter. They will see the colors begin to stream together.

Let it dry.

Punch a hole at the top and tie with yarn. Hang and enjoy!

There you have it. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy, macaroni, cheesy right?!?

Have a good week!

Marcy 🙂
