This is this first year I’ve incorporated math stations into my math block on a daily basis. I am so glad I started doing this. I’ve seen a major improvement already in the first 12 weeks at school. I finally got my Gobble! Gobble! Math Stations finished up over the weekend and and them all ready to go for today.
While I work with small groups, I have 4 other groups working on different stations. I’m planning a big post soon about how I run my math stations.
Station 1 this week is “Corny” Addends! They are getting really good at finding the missing addend.
Station 2 is Mashing Up Subtraction Facts! They sorted subtraction facts on true/false mats. Then they had to find the right difference if the problem was false.
We have been working super hard on comparing and ordering numbers the last few weeks. This set includes some higher numbers to make it a little more challenging.
I always have a math fact stations where they work on either addition or subtraction facts. Here they are playing “bump” for the first time. It was a huge hit!
In small groups, we have been working on place value with 4 digits. They are getting so good at expanded notation. It makes my teacher heart happy.
We used these cards in tutoring today to practice ordering numbers. It was perfect for a quick assessment.
You can get all of these centers and MORE in my new Gobble! Gobble! Math Stations! It includes 10 Thanksgiving themed math stations in color and black and white to get you through the month of November.
You can grab them on sale right now here!
