August Currently and Dry Erase Pockets

I am linking up with Farley from Oh Boy 4th Grade again for the August edition of Currently! This is the first currently I’ve got to do all summer! This is always one of my favorite linkies!

Listening~ I started listening to the Bobby Bones Morning Show in college fell in love with the cast! I listen to it every day on iHeart Radio!

Loving~ I’ve always had short hair. I’ve spent the last 8 months growing it out for the wedding. Yesterday, I’d had enough and chopped it all off again!

Wanting~ I’ve been waiting all summer to get into my classroom. I’m at a new school this year and I’ve had to wait until the previous teacher gets everything out. School starts in 3 weeks and I’m still not able to do anything in there yet! STRESSING! Its suppose to be ready by Monday.

Who doesn’t love new clothes! Back to school shopping needs to happen SOON!

Needing~ Even though I can’t get into my room yet, I’ve been working on projects at home. I’ve got a continuous growing pile of lamination that needs to be cut out.

B2S Must Haves~ 1. I’m currently reading The Daily 5 book and it is amazing! I’m going to try D5 out this year for the first time.
2. New flair pens are the BEST!!!
3.  A new outfit! Did I mention that I need to go shopping?!? AND a new teacher bag! Check it out!

Love me some Consuela!

Head on over to Farley’s page to link up!

Now a few posts ago, I mentioned that I was on the hunt for those dry erase pockets that EVERYONE has been finding at the Target dollar spot. I was having no luck! I finally found some at Wal-Mart but just couldn’t justify paying $2.50 a piece for them. I got on Amazon and hit the jackpot!  I came across these bad boys!

I saw the reviews that several teachers had bought them for classroom use. I got 25 pockets for $19.00!!!!! SCORE!!! They work great!

*whoops, I forgot to rotate the pic*

This is just what I’ve been looking for. The edges are black instead of bright neon colors but that’s ok. I figured that it will solve “Mrs. B, I wanted a green one instead of blue” problem that might occur! You can click here to get them on Amazon. They do these in neon colors but only a set of 10 instead of 25. Here is the link to them.

I’m off to finish working on this project that I started yesterday! Stay tuned!
