Batter Up: Fraction Centers & Activites

This week and next we will be studying fractions in math! Fractions is one of my favorite concepts to teach because their are so many fun and creative ways you can share this with kids. I'll be sharing all sorts of fun things we'll be doing over the next few days in later blog posts. We'll be using several activities from my latest unit Batter Up: Baseball Fractions Centers & Activities. Baseball season is right around the corner and I can't wait!!!

This unit includes 5 baseball themed fraction centers or activities plus 4 worksheets.

Activities & Centers:
~Equal or Not Equal Sort
~Equal or Not Equal Pocketbook
~Rounding the Bases: A sorting fractions activity (color and b&w game board included)
~Let's Play Ball: Fraction matching puzzles
~Batter Up: An I Spy game
~4 fraction worksheets

This is perfect for the time of year and the sports fans in your classroom.

I have a ton of papers to grade so I'm keeping it short and sweet tonight plus Duck Dynasty is about to come on! That makes me HAPPY! HAPPY! HAPPY!
